Our history
Utility Truck Equipment was founded 1986 by Tom Yost and Ray Bricker. These men were armed with over 50 years experience building and selling aerial devices and digger derricks to the utility industry. Through humble beginnings, Ray and Tom established UTE as a powerhouse in the Ohio aerial device market. Several aerial devices manufacturers were represented throughout the years before they were awarded the much desired Versalift product line in July of 1996.
Today Utility Truck Equipment, Inc. is the exclusive distributor of Versalift products for Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. We have grown tremendously from our first three employees. Mr. Yost is retired, but the sales department continues his philosophy of providing smart service. The production and service technicians are the best people available for building and maintaining utility equipment. Every employee at UTE shares Ray Bricker's dedication to excellence. |
